Good day looks like my master remote was the one which is not working - bought a new one - anyway to program me it without cutting the welded security box to get to the motor

Let's see... A one post wonder asking how to bypass gate security... Story about a welded box.. who the heck welds the gate motor in?
Bull story mate.

The welded part gets me. Who does that?
My motor has a cage around it with a hefty lock. Would have been swearing like a trooper last weekend when I changed the batteries and the ****ing thing was welded.

Well we do as it’s been stolen a number of times - not a bull story a Zimbabwean story. Gate motors highly sought after for making peanut butter machines

Welded AND locked here

Do not blame the members. That photo proofs nothing. Cannot be to careful.

Genuine question for you.

Why did you choose to remain in Zim and what is life like there? Worse since Uncle Bob died?

What's the value of welding it though? Moon lock and be done with it?
Sorry bro, will delete my post. Honestly didn't think that was a thing. Seems extreme.
:) Not just a Zim thing, after my third borehole pump got stolen I welded the box (8 mm plate) shut. When it breaks I need to use the generator and angle grinder to cut it open, do the repair, and weld it shut again.

****, this Africa of ours. Must be so careful in the way you answer.
Hopefully I/we can really help him/her next time.

It comes like that from supplier who offer 1 yr guarantee if it gets stolen they will replace - but yes big gap in the market to get a thief proof method

Yes we weld our borehole pumps down too
