Gauteng Online Schools

has any of you guys ever used the gauteng online computers at schools? Well I Have. at first the computers were all fine and the speeds were great. But we are now about 4 Months into our computer training and the computers only get slower. Sometimes the internet is not working at all.... I understand that the computers dont have access to Porn, Games and Online Shopping but lately it has been worse with more websites been added to the list. The school is also a community center providing internet to the public but now www.webmail.co.za does not work as well. if these computers are for research, Why are most websites not accessible at school. is this the configuration of the computers or Sentech? Talk to me My People.

Honestly if its slow its either a.) overusage and your connection cant handle it b.) computers being so slow, it cant generate html pages(lol i doubt this) c.) sentech selling a crap service

I feel you man.. Most of the time the internet is slow...now Imagine having to give students test based on research on the net and Sentech on that day decides not to work... I think its time we received good service. When ever somebody sponsors something they always give you the left overs. Peace!!!!!!!

I agree and I hope you get something that works. Schools require high bandwidth not scapes!!
