Gauteng roads ready for cup

Dude i think those plan were underway regardless of the world cup but i may be wrong :D.

Either way the good things i see on our roads is making me happy. Been very annoying thus far with all the traffic while construction has been going but it will be worth it down the line.
 
No traffic in William Nicol, i cant believe it.

I dont use it much, but just taking the William Nicol offramp was such a mission. Will have to see it to believe it.

me either, in fact there is more chance julius discovers a viable alternative fuel source to coal than wiliam nicol flows freely in the mornings..

bearing in mind the bunfight that has been william nicol for the last year or so, even moving at 5 kays an hour could be considered "flowing freely"
 
7:50am.. NO lines, NO traffic... The new robot system of flowing traffic into different roads to different destinations is very effective, along with the widening of the bridge that acted as a bottleneck ...
Very happy, saving 30min everyday

that is the mother of all ****-ups. Drove that road last week - never again ... i'll rather go all the way towards jozi on the M1/N1 (?) and then to the airport. In fact if I can avoid the OR Tambo area altogether I will

N1 upgrade, R21, R24, i.e. the roads from the airport to Jhb/Pta?

I heard from the "advertisement", 10 jun will be completed. Afterwards, R0.70 / km (previously announced).

I am not going to use the highway, thankx. ;)
