Gautrain heading for disaster

South Africa’s world-class Gautrain faces uncertainty as the Gauteng Provincial Government has not yet signed an agreement with a new operator.

Gautrain is lovely if you have a large disposable income, it is far too expensive for the average lower/middle class commuter to use on a daily basis. This was a World cup 2010 vanity project after all. Another white elephant to add to the mix.

What a pity. I'm surprised the trains are so well maintained after all these years. Even their security is better than SAPS.
