Gautrain: Is Hatfield -> Centurion ok?

So I'll soon be needing to take the Gautrain from Hatfield to Centurion during peak times (probably boarding around 07:45). How busy should I expect the station to be at this time? If the station looks anything like the N1 South during peak times, I'm thinking there could well be queues right out the door of the station and I'd need to wait for a couple of trains before being able to get on. Is it that bad?

Bonus question: I'll need to buy a new Gautrain card and pre-load it. Can I do that off a credit card at machines available at the station, or must I bring cash and engage with a human being?

Better arrive a few minutes earlier.
Load weekly or monthly bundles, can be done by credit or debit card.
Might only be standing room on train but it's quick.
Parking in station would be R20 a day.

Thanks for the info. It's ok, it's just a once-off trip. I can't arrive any earlier because I need to do something in Hatfield first, then will head straight to the station.

Hatfield is a terminus. You're guaranteed seating. You're going to take a few minutes to park but it's really not bad.

Get your card and pre-load the money before the trip, i.e. not on the day. Then the day will be a breeze.
