Gconnect shared with household via router?

If you want to share a gconnect account with an entire household of pc's, whats exactly do you type into your router?

It seems whatever i try i just cant get other pc's to land on the landing page or net.

I've tried setting my quickstart as

Username: [email protected]
Password: GConnect

When i try browse with one pc it correctly shows me the landing page, i sign in, and it works fine on that machine, but when i try other machines they refuse to see the landing page or the net. They just timeout?

The router is set to halfbridge, and my intent is to have one machine with route sentry using a local pppoe connection, and the rest on gconnect.

I'm obviously missing something obvious.

Well the solution involved my setup more than anything which wont help you.

At the end of the day i found you must avoid using the Gconnect sign in program. For some reason it locked up my account a few times. I had to restart my pc and router to get t to work. I know that made no sense, but its the only thing that worked.

Do this

Set your router's quickstart as:

Username: [email protected]
Password: GConnect

Then without the gconnect program running on any of the machines. Use your browser and go to an international website. The Gconnect landing page will popup. Type your account details in there and it should then work for all the pc's connected to your router.

Remember to type your account username, and not
[email protected]

Hope it works. I've moved on to afrihost, the login page was killing me.

Yes agree to. I was put off Cybersmart because of their terms and conditions and likewise I was put off G-Connect because of their login procedure.

Thank goodness some competition has finally arrived.
