Anyone noticed how in particular the high capacity 2.5" External Samsungs are quite cheap?
You'd expect the plain drives (no enclosure) to cost even less, but they don't really seem to be available?
Anyone know what hardware suppliers do the Samsung 1TB 2.5"? Axiz only go up to 500gb...

Yeah take2 has this (I know, it's internal)

And PC Zone also has the Makro deal @ R799.

Hard drive prices are going very cheap. That 1TB is exactly what I need for my data backups, BUT Gran Turismo 5 takes precident over pretty much anything right now. Getting R500 mimoney vouchers from work, so going to use that for GT5.
