Hi

What is a 2nd hand (about 2 years old) Sparkle Geforce 8800GTS 320mb worth?
 
8800gts 320 I'd say no more than 900 unless you need it for SLI. A 640mb is more like 1-1100, 8800gt about 12-1300. 8600gt you can get for 500 if you shop around.

Can anyone you tell me where I can get 8600 GT for R500-R600?
 
I flogged my 8800GT (512mb) for 1K now i regret doing it .... was a fantastic card. Same as the 9800GT (just one less SLI slot). I should have kept it for PhysX. But I felt sorry for my buddy! he had a peice of cr$p in his rig. He can now at least play crysis.
 
8800GT can go for 1000 sometimes. I wouldn't regret doing it for that price, if your buddy got a good setup out of it. Physx is a real waste of time atm I think.

I suppose its ok that he can play decent games decently!! My brother on the other hand was totally peeved at me for selling it, he wanted to SLI it with his 8800GT. But hey, I wanted the GTX280, and he didn't have the cash on him!:p
 
Yeah, I don't waste my time regretting selling things. I've gotten 8800gt for R1000 before, it's not a ridiculously low price. But if you see one going for that it's gone within a few hours usually.
 
How many amps would a 8800GT need if you run it as a PhysX card only?
