Think this was the first with modern computing (I remember it from a text version, never used voice);

Dr. Sbaitso (Early 90s): This chatbot was a "digitized voice" program that played the role of a therapist. It was known for its comically robotic voice that spoke with correct inflection, often asking questions like "Why do you feel that way?". It was one of the first popular, accessible chatbots in the early '90s.
