General coffee thread

So I am sitting in my usual spot in the coffee shop. Order a coffee. It arrives. The heavenly aroma filling the air. Bliss.

Then suddenly while being caught up in this alternate universe, there is a this odd smell in the air. It pulls me back to mother earth. It is as if the municipal rubbish truck decided parked in the coffee shop.

I look up.

There he is.

A hobo just entered the shop.

He comes and sit at the table next to me.

Orders the R90 specialty special beans. Pour over. He closes his eyes. He is now that alternate universe. Bliss.

The point is. Even hobo's have better taste in coffee than you people.

Had a nesspresso(sp?) this morning. Vile. Had to chase it with an instant to get the taste out of my mouth.
I’m no coffee nerd but how on earth did this **** become popular?

Well after finding out about how the snobs enjoy monkey butt coffee, I am not surprise by coffee snobs taste buds like @RedViking anymore.

That wasn't a hobo. It was @ShaunSA scoping you out.

So, more than 2 months off caffeine - odd coke and half-caf here and there - and I can’t say I feel any different, apart from no adrenaline dumps spiralling out of control and ending up in A&E, which is nice.

I know the pro's don't like the bean to cup machines but budget and time is the reason why I use one, I do full strength and espresso shots on the lowest cup size.

6:00am - x2 Double shot espresso 90 minutes after waking up. (Black)
8:00am - Cup of coffee, I usually add in a shot of espresso if the brand of beans I'm using is weak.
10:00am - Cup of coffee
12:00am - Cup of coffee
1:45pm - Cup of coffee

My cutoff is 2:00pm, I usually drink water in between and plenty after my cutoff to stay hydrated.

I have the 5400 and its made my WFH life so much more enjoyable.

I went to visit one of my multi-millionaire clients in his Ballito mansion today for him to sign contracts.

That bastard loves Frisco and made 2 cups...I had to drink it and smile. I took a huge dump in his toilet and didn't flush then left.

I ran out of beans on Friday and had to do some major server work on the weekend. 17 hours of overtime were spent uncaffeinated.
My beans delivery got delayed so I went out and bought some more at lunch... only to get home to a notification that they will be delivered tomorrow.
