All you need to do is walk into the game store where u r goin to buy and say I can get that tv for 9999 at dion wired. Then the sales person says ok and does a quick phone call and bam you got your price beat :)
 
AudioVision has the Panasonic TH-P42X20M for R7,600...tempting...
haven't compared it to the C450 yet...
 
Just remember all you Panasonic fans, there was major issues with rising brightness on the Panasonic plasmas. In other words, a voltage regulator was timed to increase the brightness according to use to try combat potential half life brightness. However, the maths inside the control units weren't correct, and the units kept getting brighter and brighter, washing out the black levels. Just keep this in mind.

Could have been, but then what stock does SA have? most probably the older stock as there isn't an official Panasonic importer/distributor in SA. And before getting flamed, the guys that stock Panasonic Tv's, most probably have imported directly or Grey goods.

I see Panasonic officially acknowledged the problem in Feb 2010...wonder if the old stock in SA would've been worked out by now......

Holy crap! It must be a mistake. Anyway, I heard from a dude who owned one. He said it has excellent picture quality, about just as good as his Samsung. I also like the screen's style - simple and not clunky.

The 32inch Sammy's and LG's are either not 1080p or cost more than R3600. I've always been one for getting the best value for my money and this Euroline TV really is great value.

The only reason I'm not jumping at this deal is that I actually want to buy the 42 inch Euroline Plasma which should go for R4200 or less, the next time it appears on 24 Hours Only.

Well it's a TV which almost definitely has an IPS panel. IPS panels have slower response times than TN panels (i.e. standard lcd monitors) so gaming might be an issue, but it has better viewing angles and color accuracy, so it definitely beats standard monitors. The only drawback is that it isn't LED backlit, but it IS 32 inches AND has a TV tuner, which makes it better value for money than other monitors on the market.

I'm almost on the verge of tears here. I've never seen such a mouthwatering deal before.

IPS on a R2k TV...sounds too good to be true...
