Because they use electronics to create a waveform, rather than relying on mechanical means?

Yes, though that is from the datasheets which might be optimistic. Real world results might differ. Just stating this for clarity not cause I'm biased.

Has anyone had any problems running the Ryobi 6500W with AVR on PC's and Monitors, TV's?
I bought one because of AVR and the high W's, but unsure if I should run my sensitive PC on it, and if I should rather get something like a UPS + Surge Protectors to add?
