Generator Fuel Consumption

Hey!

So I got a Ryobi RG-3200i Inverter Generator
It has smart throttle and I can't see its rev ranges anywhere so now I want to know

Of what I think: It states 7 hours of runtime, but since it has smart throttle it's probably not a dead straight 7 hours of runtime regardless of load otherwise it would be pushing 3200w straight at full throttle like the normal generators

Do they calculate the consumption rate at max load or will it actually use less fuel at 1/4 to 1/2 load?

Like car manufacturers who tell you the fuel consumption, it's the best bet solution, like on my little 950 Ryobi they said it would only be about 4 to 5 hours at full load, but on half load I can push it to 8 hours easy and it's not got a smart throttle it just doesn't run at full power if the load isn't high.
