Generic ECommerce Architecture - where to find one?

I'm looking for a generic and product agnostic ecommerce architecture diagram. Google is not helping. I basically want to see a picture of the common servers and applications required to sell something online.

They will be an ecommerce engine in the middle. A product catalog and pricing tool linked to that and a visa/master gateway hanging about but what else is involved.

Any help would be lekker hey shjoe-wow!

ummmmmmmmm ..... yes .... kinda. actaully very good ... I was thinking more like pictures of servers and firewalls and dmz's but this works too...

I would urge you to get to know systems like Compiere for more information...

You don't need all of that.

Rent webspace with a SQL DB. Install an ecommerce platform with SQL DB - and you're off.

The hosting company worries about all the backend technicalities like firewalls etc.

I dont want to build, run or own the solution. I'm putting together a slide for a PPT that shows a generic ecomm solution.
