Just got a sms from 0820099892: Prepaid account credited with R4.00, Your credit is RXX.XX. Ref:20290RQ1UZNIsomething

Anyone else got 'lucky' too?

They were doing a promotion where if you recharged between certain dates, you'd get extra airtime. I don't know if I got mine, though, because I certainly didn't get an SMS saying I did.

are you on prepaid?
if yes, check to see if your balance increased by R4.
if you can't tell phone 111 and ask.

They sometime do this over christmas/new year so you can have aphone call or 2 to family for free.

My Virgin prepaid give me R7 free for every R50 I recharge. I only use it for data. Also just for the month of Dec'07/Jan'08. Festive free time.
