My wife had my daughter there about 4 years ago. Brilliant. Looked after them both very well. Wasn't an easy birth, no complications just a long labour.
Excellent care from the staff they would come and look after my daughter for a couple hours so my wife could sleep.

My wife had a water birth there in 2014. Overall a great birthing experience, except for the lights that kept cutting out every now and again.

We then spent the next day (or two?) in one of the suites there and were helped by the staff learning how to do nappies, bathing, breastfeeding etc. Was very good.

does genesis have any surgical staff there?
That would be a huge concern for me if they had to take you somewhere else if something went really wrong.

/EDIT/ seems they have some kind of theatre / staff, but not sure if those docs are permanent or just available.
