Gentoo - need help

Need help setting up iburst on gentoo.

adsl-setup and then adsl-connect, nothing.

adsl-connect = timeout waiting for PODO packets or something.

Network card should be fine, or ifconfig says so. kernel = 2.4

Please help!

hokay. first move to a distro with a 2.6 kernel - this has far better pppoe support. Also, a newer distribution will have easier-to-use connection setting configuration - I recommend fedora core 3.

I can spare you some bandwidth if you want to get the ISO's from me.

Configured my own kernel using 2.6.9. Working now!
