Mr. Wenhold has been with Sentech since 2003 and is involved in the product development of their broadband products for the corporate and business market.
Qualifications
Mr. Wenhold is a qualified Linux systems administrator. He completed the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) course in 2002 and successfully wrote the International accreditation examination.
Work Experience
Mr. Wenhold started working for Sentech in 2003 and in that time he has been involved in developing and launching a variety of products and services. In 2004 and 2005 he was responsible for the development and launch of Sentech’s MailLink service, which is a fully managed e-mail hosting platform that offers e-mail services to both consumers and businesses. In 2005 he worked on Sentech’s MultiNet service, a satellite and IP multicast service. In 2006, Wenhold was part of the team that developed Sentech’s business product the BizNet Xpress. BizNet is the first carrier class leased line alternative in SA.
Before joining Sentech, Wenhold worked for InfoSat (Pty) Ltd as their Product/Development Manager where he was involved in the deployment of the first satellite IP multicast services in Africa.
