Get around Throttling

I have been using http-tunnel from http://www.http-tunnel.comto get around the throttling problem
at the moment on 15-oct-2005 I am getting great speed but sometimes it does get a bit slow. I was wondering if anyone is using something like http-tunnel and what types of speeds they are getting

the Free version of Http-tunnel will only allow you 5k/s tho, unless you pay for full access which is roughly R30 a month.

You could then get faster speeds but the fact that its running on port 80 would pretty much void it, since it would go via the saix transparent proxy still.

My best bet with your improvements mirco30za, your not really getting the speed from http-tunnel, and its mere coincidence, since all the traffic will pass thru saix transparent proxy still, effectively eliminating the fact that your tunneling via a proxy.

http://www.your-freedom.net/ seems to to work aswell. clipse I seem to be getting good download downloading the same file seemed to go faster to me
