My network setup is via a Netgear N300 router connected via prepaid 3G to CellC which I am pretty happy with.
However to get my data usage I have to switch off router, switch SIM to cell phone, find balance via *100#, and then switch back.
I would love to, from my Linux laptop, run a program that issues ussd commands, using the phone number of the router SIM, and get my balance that way.
Can this be done? I am willing to write one if necessary but where to start?
