Overall that's a good option. One thing I took out of this relationship, is that never trust anyone 100%, always trust own instincts.

I'm never getting married, ever. But I will date.

If it makes you feel any better, a kind of justice is the fact that she's proven herself to be untrustworthy and that is something that is irredeemable. Once you've betrayed someone, that's pretty much with you for life. And she's bound to do it again to someone else.

Love is all about trust though. You can't truly love someone you don't trust completely and who feels the same about you.

You just have to sift through a lot of crap before you find someone worthy of that.

But if you can't trust family, who can you trust ?
 
Want to see her really suffer? Do what any good man will do.. just walk away and move on. That's it. It is that simple. Nothing gets to people more than them seeing you can "be the better person". I don't know if she had a reason to cheat on you.. but if you really were a good bf you will be sorely missed. She will go through a lot of pain. The more nicer you are to her.. the more it will get to her. Trust me it works. As mentioned before revenge is wayyy too time consuming and a waste of energy.

Not only that but the faster you get to getting over her the faster you get a new gf. Better for you and her in the bigger picture..
 
Go see an attorney regarding getting some of your gifts back - yes you can get the engagement ring and some gifts back - some legal rule I can't remember.
FYI it's easier to divorce than getting out of an engagement (if done following legal guidelines) in SA!
