Get Hotfixes without calling Microsoft

Microsoft doesn't post all their hotfixes on their download site; for some, you have to call Support Services. Some folks are phone-shy and others, because of hearing problems or other disabilities, just can't use the phone comfortably. But there's a way to get some of those hotfixes without getting on the phone: through The Hotfix Share. Check it out at:

Why not just use Autopatcher

Hi,

This is the first I've heard about this situation, however, I always like to keep my own PC's and my clients' PC's up to date with Autopatcher (www.autopatcher.com / www.getautopatcher.com ) since that is a full Post SP2 update pack with monthly updates, loads of extra features (Adobe Flash Player 9, Sun Java 6, Tweaks, Powertoys and extras).

If you want to keep your PC up to date (and dont want to sit for hours on the internet waiting for AutoUpdate to finish, use Autopatcher, you will thank yourself for it later

Why not just use Autopatcher

These are usually patches designed for server applications (SharePoint server) or backend systems. These patches also usually only apply to certain situations, thus they do not offer it for download.
