Power utility Eskom says that it will implement stage 2 load shedding all week, during peak evening hours from 17h00 to 22h00.

He's certainly disappointed. Sure he inherited a dead horse but I've yet to see what he's done to revive it. He doesn't seem to have managed to make the slightest difference to the state of plant since taking over. It's gotten worse instead.

I said no difference to the state of plant.
The death threats have not stopped him implementing measures to stem corruption, but the syndicates seem to be milking Eskom as much as before. That's not his fault though.

Eskom received a 59 billion rand taxpayer's bailout. Plus Eskom sell some assets. He did nothing to its benefit. Only makes power cuts the worst since 2007.

2007 didn't actually have any for consumers, it started in 2008,then we didn't get any again till 2014, then 2015 was pretty bad, almost half the year.
Then nothing till 2018, 2019 was still when we hit stage 6.
