Mmmm, never realised this, but Sentech (one of our clients) has an awesome example of our IMS systems.

If you go to the coverage section you can use the zonelocator to locate your exact location (you should be able to find your erf). Then just watch the bottom left of your browser and note your Lat and Long.

Free.

Sweet stuff

PS: This would help people who wish to add a node on NodeDB. Your EXACT lat long will enable pin point accuracy in planning connections.

what is the URL?
Battling to find this on the sentech site.....

okay that sends me to a disclaimer which when i click, closes the window and does.....nothing!

I think you might have some pop up blocker or somesuch thing. Dont know if it works on firefox. Its supposed to bring you to a page with a faux login page. You just log on as public and then proceed to the IMS section...

Is there a way to switch off pop up blocking for a few moments there?

wil try it and see......okay that works! awesome

Ok, I've got my exact Longitude and Latitude !

Erm, ok, ....

so now what do I do with that information ? (assuming I don't have R2000 to start a node)

:D

you can give it to people if you're too lazy to give them directions to your house? :D
