Still a shame DSTV blocks their app on this device. Would be interesting to know if they still see this as a grey android product although you are the official distributor..

This is annoying! I can view DSTV on my old Samsung Galaxy S4 phone but not on my Minix X8-H Plus. Now if I want to watch live sport I have to use my laptop connected to my TV via HDMI.
 
The supersport app work fine on my U1 but not the DSTV Now app.. I read on the forums in the past it did work but they subsequently blocked in newer versions of the app.
 
Yeah the price is a bit overkill and the device is a bit limiting compared to a mini itx system that you can build into a media player.
 
I bought it from aliexpress last year but beware of ICASA, other members recently had their imports blocked and confiscated by them until they are certified..

Whaaat!
Does customs block it because the icasa sticker is missing?
Does it get returned to sender?
