My Datsun was taken off the road a little while back because there were severe issues with getting it onto my name since I've purchased it from the previous owner.
It (the person) then thought that it would be easier to let the licence expire and just do it all from scratch.
From what I could find out, it's fairly straight forward to get it back on the road. I just need a police statement that the car is now legally mine... and then a day at the licencing center. It won't even cost much.
The problem is the wait period. In PTA, it's at least 6 months for the paperwork to go through.
Do I have to register it in PTA if I live here?
