So i have been 3D drawing and cutting on 3 and 4 axis machines for coming on to ten years.
For years i have been making other peoples thousands and thousand of bucks. (Recently did 2 pieces and they were 36k. Each.)

So what i would lie to know is is it possible to get a cnc through crowdfunding or angel investors?
And as always i appreciate tour input

Who's machines were you using for those 10 years?

They probably got them free.
No no. The companies i work for owned them.
These machine are expensive. So just want to know if something like this feasble. And if so and it is a success and i am the type of guy that wil pay it forward in the form of training youngsters etc.

Just out of interest how much is the machine you need. I've seen quite a few listed lately from companies closing down here in the Cape when I'm looking for milling machines.

They are po3s expensive... Good couple of hundred grand for a smallish one from what I remember...

They start from about R175k for a Ruijie with a 2 x 3 m bed. Chinese machine but does have 3 D capability.

Things have changed since I last looked then... That's still a crap load of money but way way less than I remember seeing.
