My main internet connection is one of Telkom's Huawei LTE routers, with most of the devices in the house connecting via a Wifi network. Wired, I've got up to 100Mbps, with wifi maxing out a bit above 50. The current problem device is a Mygica Android TV box which, ideally sits in a very dead area for the wifi network.

What options should I be looking at for getting a wired or wifi connection to this (and possibly some other devices.

Options I can see working are:
  1. Put in some CAT5 (which is not ideal as the router may have to move around a bit still)
  2. Powerline adapters.
  3. Wifi range extender.
  4. Wifi signal booster (if these are any different from range extenders).

Ideas?

Depending on your budget, I would recommend a Ubiquiti UniFi (about R1000) - works a treat in my house.
