Getting a SSD

Hey,

So I have finally managed to convince my work to allow me to get a sdd for my laptop.

I am looking at this currently:

Is that a good price and drive?

Also does any know where to get a hdd caddy to make my existing hard drive a secondary hard drive instead of my dvd rom? I have a HP Probook 470 G1.

It's a good drive and not a bad price. Personally I'd get one from Wootware or Rebel Tech rather.

The 850 Evo is a beast. Best consumer SSD out there right now IMO. It is a bit pricey compared to competitors, but it's totally worth it if you can afford it.

Also, the Magician software it comes with is quite useful. Not usually a fan of Samsung bloatware (looking at you TouchWiz) but I actually like this piece of software for the SSD.

the 250 gig is cheapest on takealot but the 500 gig is very cheap on wootware.

Now I just have to find a sata 2nd hdd caddy for my hp probook 470 g1. Its proving to be quiet a hard item to find here in south africa.

You are looking for hens teeth. I was looking for one last year for my old HP Elitebook. Could only get one that included a hard drive already installed. Eventually just used a USB housing and kept the DVD Rom.
