Getting Adsl, what is the best option?

Hi Guys, my mother wants to get adsl at their house, they currently have the closer 2 calling package from telkom.

I would like to know from you guys, is it better to go through telkom's closer do broadband packages or rather go with another ISP?

i'd say get what telkom has to offer, and if you need anything more, you can always buy a prepaid account to get more gigs

Closer 4 is a good idea.

If you need more gigs just use another isp. Just remember that every gig from telkom gives you 10 local gigs too.

I have Telkom Closer 4 (384kbps) and a cap from another ISP.
It costs R462 (closer 4) which includes the home line rental as well as the adsl line rental. You also get 71c anytime calls abroad, free off-peak domestic calls and 1300 peak domestic calls. Cellular calls are cheaper too.
