Morning :)

So I've decided to give iBurst the boot in the near future and sign up for an ADSL line. I have a few questions about the initial process.

I used to be a subscriber with Telkom about 4 years ago. (Just a regular telephone line). I canceled the subscription, but the telephone line is still in my house. What will Telkom then need to do in order for me to get ADSL? Will they have to install a new line, or can I just phone them and activate my existing telephone line again?

Also, a phone number would be appreciated as I find the Telkom Internet website somewhat confusing.:o

Thanks in advance

Im not 100% sure but i would assume that you would just have to order a phone and they will activate it or something...

Here are some numbers...
10215
10219 (try this one first imo)
0800375375

Thanks!

I'm wondering now if my old number is even still available? I mean, do they keep your number forever in case you want to sign up again? Also, how long is the average wait time to convert your line to DSL?

im sorry i have no idea, its been a few years since i went through the process, im sure the operator on 10219 would be able to answer all these questions better...
