hi i play online with my iburst regulary and today i am experiencing the worst...loss. it has never been so bad. is there any problems with iburst that you guys are experiencing?

I also play alot, but no problems at here here today. Been pretty good.

Must be a(nother) Joburg thing.

My gaming is almost always good... but there can be random disconnects.. not very often at all though.

264 average, thats much better than ADSL, I get around 500 for that IP, where is it?

Your local is pretty good too, with a 290 spike an average of 71 is pretty good.

It's prob a Joburg thing... Been d/c 3 times - just today, took me 6 attempts to even connect earlier on.

Used my dad's 3G for the first time today, and i can say is i was IMPRESSED! No fluctuations like this **** service!

-71db off a tower with load of 1/3 helps, although my raw throughput is not as good as that would suggest. Time of day plays a role too. Look at when I ran those pings. I had only slightly slower pings an hour ago but five minutes ago I got this...

Okay, well those other pings are terrible. Really weird because here in CPT I will always get around 480-550, maby 600ish during the day.

But it never gets that bad, yet never as good as your last post.

My pings arene't too bad for that IP. I average about 360ms and max at 392ms.

4. it happened on saturday night. i did the whole disconnect thing and it got a bit better but eventually got rid of it at 11PM.

going to phone Iburst today to ask about new base station by me and to organise a new ext antenna.
