Getting into acting...

Ok so my niece wants to get into acting.
I told her that I'd ask some friends
(don't think she thought I meant myBB friends).

Anyway, does any one know how she could get into it?
She won't start off in porn (no I didn't suggest that).

Anyone have an idea?

Best first to find a drama class to join, try your local recreation centre. I know the one in Parkhurst is currently having try-outs. I would also recommend she joins a casting agency to do extras work, nice way to start building up experience an some stuff for a portfolio. PM me if you want the name of the one.

It might be an idea to look at a couple of Am Dram in the local community newspaper.
They have them here...unfortunately...cant think of any worse punishment than to sit through an hour of some poorly directed. scripted, acted and banal play.
