Getting removed from a group mailing zealot's list

I somehow got onto some guy's group mailing list. I unsubscribed. He made a new group, added me to that. Rinse and repeat for some ****ing years. I've sent emails requesting to stop adding me to new groups to no avail. How do I end this.

Return his emails x10
next time x20
etc
etc
 
Also, advertise some ridiculous specials on gumtree using his email address. If you have his cell number, even better!

Chicken, I have 2 ways dealing with this.

I set up a rule in Outlook, that says when an email arrives from a specific sender, delete immediately and permanently. That way you don't even know that mail came. You can set up 1 rule, and just add new senders as they come along.

2nd way, I mark the sender as blocked, then the mail re-routes to your spam folder, and once a month I just delete all in this folder without looking at it.

That works well for me.

Failure to respond to this request may also constitute a criminal offense.


I note that your original message did not provide me with an option to cancel my subscription to your mailing list, as required by section 45(1) of the ECTA and/or section 69(4) of the POPIA. This means that you may already have committed an offense in terms of the respective Acts and may be subject to prosecution.

If he is monitoring that email address for responses, it could get irritating for him. Is it possible to setup an auto reply rule that responds 100 or even 1000 times when a message is received?

Sure, it would only work once because he would block you, but it would be funny.

Its a criminal offence, not civil... lay a charge at the cop shop... see what happens. Least will be a headache for the ijots ;)

If anything, the ijot will have to deal with your local municipal courts... this will please them if he/she is a few provinces away :D

I would like to see this happen. Anyone willing to give this a shot? My bet is nothing will happen.
