You could start off with burning a smudge stick around the house and asking whatever it is to leave.
You can get sage smudge sticks at almost any crystal shop.

Failing that you'll need to find a paranormal investigator or medium who can do a cleansing. Finding a genuine one is the next challenge.

The existence of spirits is predicated upon your knowledge of the existence of god? How does that work? It would be very simple to have no knowledge of something and for it to yet exist? Isn't that what happened for some time with things like gravity?
