I am currently re-developing a site for a large JSE-listed company. With the old site, someone had to manually post the latest SENS announcements as they were released. They are now wanting this to be done automatically. Technically, this is no issue as the data can be pulled and the site updated via a server-side script, but where can I get this data from? Is there a site that provides real-time SENS feeds or some kind of API that I can use?

There must be other sites that are updated this way, can onyone give me some suggestions of data providers that I can pull this info from automatically, either free or subscription-based?

Thanks

Any market data provider will provide you with this. IIRC McGregors BFA provide this service, but it could just as easily be obtained from Thomson-Reuters, although they have a website building department specifically for investor relations departments - so they're likely to see you as a lead source instead of a friend...;) I-Net Bridge and the like provide this too. Most of the time the company in question will have an existing market data provider, especially if they're listed. These will be in their finance, treasury and investor relations departments. You might just find that a contract already exists for this data and they're using it in various departments. In fact I'd put my bottom dollar on this being the case - if not, then one must question their management.

By the way, the market data providers get this directly from the JSE who can also provide you with this data, for a fee...
