Hi guys,

Please could someone point out to me where I can get the Speed Camera POI for my Garmin. I am running Garmin Mobile XT on a PDA, and want to avoid a repeat of my last drive down to Durbs which ended up costing far more than I had budgeted for.

Please advise where I could download this data.

Thanks in advance...

haha, thanks guys :) seem to have everything loaded on my TyTn II, so now, to check whether it all works and go near some cameras... :) thanks for the help...

Does not fit

I tried using the communicator on Garmap but when I click the "Download data" button I get an error saying "The data will not fit on your GPS device"
I have a Garman GPSmap 60CSx

Does anybody have an idea why I get this?
The GPS has a 4 Gig card in so I doubt that it can be full.

As jy nie wil hoor nie moet jy voel :p

+10000

Cheapest way is to keep your speed under 130...

My Garmin warns me, but 9 times out of 10 the cops have moved somewhere else - is it really worth the effort, just to know that you broken the law??

IF you are going to use this, you may be interested in SILENCE.

When I drive a long distance, so to Durbs, I want to program my destination so that I can get statistics like time, distance left etc.

I do not want TURN BY TURN spoken directions, so I mute the damn thing. Problem is, muted Garmin = muted POI warnings. So, I modified the English (Br non-TTS) voice and silenced everything except alerts. Problem solved. No running commentary, beeps for POIs and up-to-date stats.

YMMV.
