I want to sell my 2011 ford bantam. How do i establish the value?
Its the base white 1.3

Extras inc mp3/ipod radio and alloy wheels. Oh and clock just hit 15000 km so its almost new.

Any one have a value or know where i can go?

American much? :p

Anyway, you can phone the motoring show on 702 between 8 and 8:30pm on Friday night whne they do car valuations (they will give tradein and retail price) or you put the details into autotrader and see what you get for similar specs, just to get a rough idea.

So the subject line you talk about picking up chicks, but the OP is about your Bakkie.

:erm:

Use Autotrader as a guide. Call a few dealers, take whatever price they give you and add another 20-50k (depending on how badly they lowball you)

The value of your bakkie is whatever someone is willing to pay for it. You'll find that no matter what the book or market or retail value is of your vehicle, it'll usually be higher than what someone is willing to pay for it.

"Pickup?" Is that the thing you fill up with a few gallons of "gas", then drive a few miles on the right-hand side of road to the "football" game where players hold the ball in their hands, before going to a "barbeque" and camping out in front of an iStore for the night? :p

But as others have said, take a look at autotrader, carfind or similar sites/magazines and then take a bit off that to get a realistic idea of what you can expect. As has also been mentioned, the car is worth what someone will pay for it. Which is almost guaranteed to be much less than you think it's worth.

Fixed that for you :p
