I haven't felt... But for the price, it doesn't bother me too much if it works or not. My mind will just be at ease knowing I have a decent one installed...does your geyser feel warm on the outside?

The blankets seem to be 150 to 200l (one size)... So I have a 150l geyser , so there should be enough to cover piping around it.i was just thinking it is pointless if the geyser is already well insulated? maybe better to insulate the pipes rather?

They slip over, it's actually pretty easy, its like a foam mini pool noodle, that way you run less water before actually getting hot waterWow.
That seems like lots of hardwork!

interesting i think i'll consider doing that - my geyser is outsideIn roof geyser , you can also use isotherm (green insulation) builders should carry blankets and rolls of the stuff.
If outside first wrap in isotherm , then blanket. Double up.
