Needs help/advice with the following.
The PV system is big enough to run the geyser when the sun shines. On rainy days I would however like to run the geyser off grid power. How would I wire this?
Considering there is a DSM box that turns the geyser off when the council feels like it. When I run it on solar I don't want to go via the DSM device, so I would wire the solar in after the DSM.
Problem comes when I use the grid to charge my batteries. Now my geyser is indirectly running off the grid as well, bypassing the DSM.
Would this not mean a fine at some point?
