When I saw this article today thoughts came into my mind as to how GT is going to handle it. Two of my collgues went to Accra last year and said that GT's exchanges get so overloaded that they actually have to reboot them (this drops all calls of course) to free up its resources again. But good for them in anycase.

People tend to forget that Africa is still 'n frontier continent. In other words it is a continent that is still largely new and open for development. It is exciting stuff, but it has too many restrictive policies. We are lucky in the sense that we can get nice tech from the developed world, but our implimentation sucks! The developed world did not have the luxury of a developed partner when they were growing who could help with tech.

Come on Africa, we can do it! To all the leaders of Africa open up the eyes of your people and free their minds!

Cheers
Antowan
