It is functionally identical to the normal black styler, it just comes with a pouch and is painted a fancy pink. If those things are woth R380 for you, it is great. Alternatively, just go for the black styler. Just be sure to use heat protective products with it.

We own a small hairsalon (don't sell GHD but Cloud-Nine instead, IMO a better iron), and its all about how you use the iron with the correct products.

Your better off finding a salon selling GHDs and asking advice as you're going to need to continue buying the products for your iron/hair in in the future as well and they can advise you as to what you should use on your hair.

I bought my wife one after I forgot her birthday last year, she is very happy with it. It even managed to make my hair straight

Get a Cloud 9. Its much better. So says my girlfriend. She works with this stuff so I guess she's know. They retail for a R2K at salon.

I don't own that particular model, but I can tell you that you cannot go wrong with GHD. I use mine everyday and it doesn't damage my hair. I love it to bits

But as Superjakes, pointed out, it will be exactly the same as the black styler, so you should consider if a pretty colour is really worth it

its relating to odo

If you buy a GHD from a non-GHD stockist (remember these guys are not) then immediately validate the serial number of the iron with GHD to make sure its covered by the local agents (just visit HelloPeter to see their track record with irons not bought through authorised salons).

As for the price, shop around. Lots of salons will sell at "cost" as they need to purchase 20 irons at a time and need to keep their cash flow going.

Remember that the deal excludes delivery and check out their ****ty T&Cs

Ja I don't like the fact that they don't mention any warranty / guarantee. I think I'll shop around a bit.

Any recommended places in Pretoria?
