Ghost and vista?

I just bought and installed a brand new pc, i have setup all my apps and things the way i want now i want to create a ghost image for a backup.

i am using vista 32 home premium, any suggestions plz

what version of ghost is it? Does it see the NTFS partitions?

do not use norton ghost

go and buy acronis trueimage

nothing can beat that program

If you have any seagate harddrives in your machine, you can get the free seagate tools from

They include a free version of acronis that works as long as a seagate harddrive is detected.

useful advice but does it not just copy from disc to the other? Ghost mages an image of the drive which you can store on a DVD or something and then at any time just dump that which will overwrite everything.

Western digitial also have copy tools if that's what you want to do.

It can do both copying and creating an image.
