I don't usually post in the music section, and am actually not a massive fan of music in general, however a friend put me onto ghost. Year Zero is the best song I have heard in a long time.

A little evil perhaps but very good :D

What similar music is there?
 
Try Cradle of filth, nymphetamine girl is a good start :)

I don't have anything against Lore but what distinguishes them from the heap of other bands with the exact same sound? At least the band Ghost ripped off no longer exists ;)

Pssssh - they don't all sound the same.

Admittedly some of them of very similar in sound - but I think Elder are quite different from others that I've heard.

The Electric Wizard sound is one that is all too over done - in my opinion.
 
Their new album is quite decent. If you like Ghost try maybe King Diamond or Blue Oyster Cult.
 
King Diamond and Ghost in the same sentence? Blasphemy!

But King Diamond is a good recommendation :)
