GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R

GIGABYTE GA-EX58A-UD5

GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD7

Can i ask out of the 3.. which one is better? And what is the difference between them?

The expensive models are usually intended for the overclockers, so if I were you I won't go for anything above the UD3 model.

I also looked at them, and in the end decided on the UD3. The price difference was not worth the extra features for me. I am very happy with the UD3.

True..

The pricing is really high for them both other than the UD3..

Do you have a UD3? If so, it's working fine?

I see..

Yeah I rate I won't do anything with the over clocking.. it's a bit dangerous if you dont' know what you're doing.. that's what I heard.. :P

Speaking of which, I see on the link that there is something like support DDR 3 ram up to 2100+

But on my ram stick, it's only 1333... Is that something that is overclocked?

And by inceasing that number, what is the effect?

Def go for the GA-X58A-UD3R (rev. 2.0). Btw ask your supplier if it is rev 1.0 or rev 2.0 because the rev 1.0 had issue under load where it make a siff electric squeal.

Does anyone have a clue wtf the difference is between a GA-X58A-UD3R and a GA-X58A-USB3. Cuz I can't find anything on the GA-X58A-USB3 anywhere besides South African websites.....

Yes I have the UD3 ver 2.0 and is still very happy with it. It is now about 6 months old and still going strong. I like the fact that it is a bit future proof with USB3 and SATA3.

Yeah.. That was actually what I want to get .. sata 3 and USB 3.. ^ ^ But USB 3, still works faster when the flash is usb 2?

Yeah.. That's what I thought.. mm.. oh wel.. but having it is better than not lol ..
