Not really, especially for the price. If you're already buying a GTX280 though you might as well spend money on the other parts.

Probably won't see much improvement at stock speeds, but might have more overclocking headroom. But I agree, I'd rather spend the money on something else

Well, If you check here (http://www.computersonly.co.za/productlist.aspx?categoryid=36093) you will see that the 4870x2 is cheaper than the GTX280 and it is faster.

Luckily I bought mine when they still costed R5500
