Gigabyte Q1000C With Solid State Drive

Need your advice/help

I recently got a Gigabyte Q1000c netbook, Im Thinking about putting a solid state drive in it.Any one tried this? is it even possible [it looks like the whole netbook will have to be taken a part to do this ]

Yes. It uses a plain 2.5" SATA drive which you can replace with a SSD.

Everything opening 100x faster? Basically it will be like you just pumped steroids into. imagine a Porsche engine in a beetle, you just know that beetle is going to **** off.

Imagine booting and everything works straight away, not waiting for the hdd to catch up. All i can say is do it and you will be blown away bud.

Hi I need to upgrade the hdd to a 320GB - anyone have an idea howto remove the hard drive have tried but cannot get the palmrest off
