Hi,

Has anyone used or know someone who brought one of these?
If so how do they fair?

Is the touch screen responsive?

And the cost of a unit like this. can anyone share with me how much it would be?

Looks like a nifty gadget and I assume the capacitive touchscreen should do just fine. I would wait for some reviews to come out before taking the plunge though...

Personally, if I wanted a notebook I would get a notebook. If I wanted a tablet I would get a tablet. If I wanted a desktop I would get a.....you get the picture.

its the older netbook version of that and I love it - i bought an internal mini pci 3g card off ebay and I am totally mobile. the one i bought has a resistive touchscreen and no multitouch.

A friend got it for me from rectron for about R4500 in December 2009.

so its over a year old now and still going strong
I travel a lot and do a lot of webadmin, I also use it as a e-reader.
the battery lasts about 5 hours with wifi on and about 3 hours with 3G
- i only upgraded the windows version from win 7 starter to professional and added the 3G card from ebay ($20)
