giganews help needed please

hi guys im using giganews, when i download movies i keep getting this stupid crap password thingy. once i unrar i open the folder then there is a readme text file which says in order to unrar the movie i have to go to http://keygator.com and follow the process to unlock that page for the password otherwise i cannot unrar the movie,
does anyobdy know how i can bypass that cos it seems all movies i download from there has the same thing

please assist

There is not much you can do with a password encrypted file but delete it.
Don't be scammed into going to the website and trying to open it, that will just end in tears.
Rather read the comments first on a file you are about to download to see what others say about the file.

The above comments are all good advice. Also Giganews are overpriced, you can pay a lot less and get the same thing somewhere else e.g. Newsdemon, Astraweb. This won't however help with passworded downloads, for that you should just use better index site like mentioned above.

The password-downloads are best fixed using common sense. It's like downloading those superseeded torrents that are zipped .

But yes, Astra/ND > Giga by miles.

Passworded torrents/nzbs = fake in my eyes. Like everyone said, get a better nzb site that will show you when something will need a password. Other than our local sites I mainly use binsearch.info

Get a block account if you download less than 135GB a month on usenet.
Get the 1TB account if finances allow, it doesn't expire and it's much better on a Rand/GB scale.

The 180GB astraweb package lasted me about 4 months at a time.
