Gillian Ezra is the Chief Operating Officer at Simfy Africa and the Music Content Manager for Exactmobile.
Gillian Ezra began her career in the music industry with a part time job selling t-shirts at events. This led to a job offer at Big Concerts. Gillian moved to Real Concerts when the company split, and worked on many productions including Shaggy, Whitney Houston and Phil Collins. She then moved to Famous Concerts, worked as a tour manager for the Camel Experience tours.
Gillian formed Frontline Entertainment Management, a company which managed Saron Gas/ Seether and was responsible for securing and overseeing the international signing of Seether to Wind-up Records. Gillian moved to producing the Metro FM Music Awards and worked as the Events/ Marketing co-ordinator at Metro Fm. She moved to EMI Music, working as the Promotions Manager, overseeing the publicity for high profile releases such as Watershed’s Mosaic, Tasha Baxter’s Colour of Me and Coldplay’s X & Y.
